Help Me Grow Draft Policies for Comment

Ohio’s Help Me Grow program is administered by the Bureau of Early Intervention Services (BEIS), Ohio Department of Health. It is the responsibility of BEIS, with the advice and input from the Ohio Help Me Grow Advisory Council, to develop and distribute information on policies and procedures related to the operation of Help Me Grow.

The Ohio Department of Health, in accordance with P.L. 108-446, Part C, Programs for Infants and Toddlers with Disabilities, is conducting hearings and seeking input on revisions to policies listed below.  Please note that the public comment period will last until December 1, 2009.

Assessment (proposed to replace Evaluation and Assessment for Part C)
Child Record (proposed to replace Client Record and Data Collection, Management and Reporting)
         Attachment to Child Record policy
Eligibility Determination (proposed to replace Eligibility, Evaluation and Assessment for Part C and Screenings)
Parenting Education through Home Visitation (proposed to replace Home Visiting)
Part C Family to Family Support (proposed to replace Family Support and Participation)
Personnel Standards
